Cardiologische vooruitgang en budgetbeperking: is dit verzoenbaar? Visie van minister De Block

Op 9 en 10 februari vindt het 36th Annual Congress of the Belgian Society of Cardiology (BSC) plaats.

Jaarlijks is dit dé ontmoetingsplaats voor specialisten uit de cardiologie waarbij ze gedurende twee dagen conferenties kunnen bijwonen, nieuwe inzichten kunnen verwerven en gerenommeerde experts in hun vakgebied kunnen ontmoeten.

Prof. Dr. Agnès Pasquet, voorzitster van de Belgian Society of Cardiology, nodigt u graag uit op de keynote sessie «Healthcare vision and in particular cardiology health care, in the actual economic situation: where are we going?» door gastspreker minister De Block en op de aansluitende persconferentie op donderdag 9 februari.

Tijdens de persconferentie licht een panel van experts onder meer de volgende topics toe:   

• de manier om de epidemische groei van cardiovasculaire aandoeningen te beperken en op te vangen
  • «How to deal with an increasing prevalence of cardiovascular disease in aging population, with restricted budget envelop»
• de financiering van innovatieve cardiologische technieken en evidence-based medicine  
• de organisatie van het cardiologische zorgaanbod met focus op hospitaal netwerken en financieren
